I am super excited to announce that Mercy Vineyard Church is partnering with Royal Family Kids Camps to put on a camp for abused and neglected foster children.

We have raised the money to put down a deposit to rent a camp in Illinois and have set the date for August 4th through the 8th 2014.

We will have the honor of loving and blessing 20 to 25 children, ages 6 through 11, who are in need of adults who will care for them, be patient with them, love them, and spend time with them.  Camps like these have literally changed the lives of foster children around the country and we have the opportunity to change the lives of kids right here in Rock Island County.

We believe though, that this is an event for churches all around our area and are currently connecting with other churches about volunteering, praying, and partnering financially.  If this is something you think your church would like to get involved with, please contact me at lee@findmercy.org.
